Auset Music Project and More at Webster Groves Farmer’s Market on Thursdays, All Summer Long
June 3, 2010 was the opening day for the Webster Groves Farmer’s Market in Webster Groves, MO, which will be set up every Thursday 3pm – 7pm through the whole summer. Rows of tents full of wares were set up along Garden Avenue, near the Old Orchard Gazebo Park.
Participating vendors are various; today’s offerings included fresh veggies, eggs, plants, jewelry, pasta and more, as well as live chef demonstrations and a complimentary wine sampling. But why are we mentioning a marketplace on a music website? …because free, local, live music is featured during the event! Today Auset Music Project, a folk/rock alternative band, entertained the shoppers.
Also coming up in Webster Groves is the Gazebo 10 series, which features evenings of live music and an outdoor movie in the Old Orchard Gazebo, all for free! Be sure to grab a blanket or lawnchair for the following Gazebo 10 events:
