Those Darlins at Off Broadway, September 16, 2011
Those Darlins came to play at Off Broadway in St Louis on September 16, 2011. The crowd was already revved up from the previous two headliners that night, Bunnygrunt and Wagons. The band consisted of Jessi Darlin, Kelley Darlin, and Nikki Darlin, and drummer Linwood Regensburg, all hailing from Tennessee. They sang many songs from their newest album, “Screws Get Loose”, showing off their “rocker girl” style. Jessi Darlin was center stage in her rhinestone leotard and could really get the crowd going with her gritty, husky vocals. Nikki Darlin was a great contrast with her deep, sultry voice, singing fan favorites such as “Wild One”.

Those Darlins really got the fans going after returning to the stage for an encore, even taking turns going into the crowd to get up-close and personal. There were lots of cheers and raised beers when they finished their set.
